The music industry has taken a major hit in the past week with events, pubs, and clubs postponing till further notice. As #COVID19 virus continues to rage globally more and more producers are hitting the studio to work on uncompleted projects, new music and interacting with their fan-base even more. As we all hope this situation passes as soon as possible, we must all keep positive and drown ourselves in music to keep us afloat. Music is the answer!
Let’s start seeing more creative productions from the trance genre! This message goes out to all the producers who continue to limit themselves to one basic sound. Break the walls of genres and get busy. Back in the late 90’s and early 00’s, producers were combining elements of all genre’s in their productions and it was one of the best times to be alive for the listeners and clubbers going out each and every night. Start listening too more techno, house, psy trance, latin music, hiphop and 90’s dance music to attract new & old sounds in your productions. Lets finally rid of what is hurting trance music from evolving. Start remixing & editing your favorite 90s dance & house hits. You want to grow your fan base? This is the way to do it.
Over the years the sound of trance has become so stale and repetitive. Take some time to look back at the sounds that ruled the underground scene to grab some inspiration. I would personally love to hear more techno and house music at events in the future when events come back. It was like that in that the late 90s when I first started clubbing. Stop limiting yourself!
In times like this we need to stay safe, stick together and get creative. My thoughts go out to everyone affected by this situation. The music industry taking a huge hit with this and we need to really stay strong when this passes and get behind all people and brands who have been affected. I predict there will be a huge amount of new music coming so lets support the events you get to hear the music at when we can rave again safe. ♥️
