What was so special about August this year? The amount of top-notch releases this month was satisfying to say the least. Instead of the usual top five, I managed to round up fifteen amazing productions. Keeping the energy & feels high are five tracks from the likes of Pete Delete, MaRLo, Ram, Sean Tyas, Cold, Aponaut, Markus Schulz, Lost In Noise, Renegade System and many more. These household names in trance music continue to show me originality in the scene. Each have their own sound and amazing to say the least. Let me know what your favorite tracks of the month were in the comments below!
Pete Delete – Wild Child (MaRLo Edit)
You wanted unbridled power? You got it. With MaRLo’s edit of Pete Delete’s ‘Wild Child’, you’re getting a rambunctious Trance banger that makes you pump your fist in the air until the break of dawn.
Renegade System – Predator
You like your trance, dark, dirty, heaving hitting and full of acid then Renegade System’s latest offering is the one for you ‘Predator’ ticks all the above boxes and more and simply doesn’t hold back or take any prisoners.
When it comes to actual legends of the scene, they don’t come much
bolder than this king of the Netherlands. Wherever the harder side of
the scene is concerned, Fausto is a name that has never been far away.
From his arena sized status at many leading Dutch raves though the years
(Defqon1, Dance Valley, Qlimax, Sensation and many many more) his
highly acclaimed Crossover radio show, and a wealth of solid productions
on an enviable and diverse list of top tier labels. We are delighted to
welcome Fausto onto HTE for the first time, with this very quirky and
distinctive vocal track, and a production that fuses influences from
Hard, Psy, Tech and much more. On remix duties, and fresh off the back
of his Luminosity debut, Renegade System applies his own trademark spin
on things and ramps this one up for the headstrong crew, with a much
darker and harder theme overall. Classy stuff all round. We hope you
agree.
Sean Tyas is the grandmaster of bringing ancient classics to life, and he cements his position by dropping an outrageously energetic take on Rapid Eye’s ‘Circa-Forever’. From the racing acid lines to the jolting synth plucks, this remix is poised to smash mainstages until the end of time itself.
C.O.L.D. pres. Iron & Steel – Human Beings
German duo C.O.L.D. make their return to Hyper Reality Records, this time introducing us to their alias Iron & Steel. Human Beings has all the elements we love to hear from C.O.L.D. – big kicks, throbbing bassline, energetic percussion and lush synthwork. As if that weren’t enough, we’ve also got remixes from Dark Sector and J Rogers, each of whom bring their own unique spin to the track! Like it, share it and be part of a new reality!
Aponaut – Spherical Alloys EP
Aponaut returns to Hyper Reality Records with the Spherical Alloys EP – three massive old-school bombs pulled from the archives. Often featured prominently in their legendary live sets, these previously-unreleased gems have everything we’ve come to expect from the Canadian veterans: massive kicks, throbbing basslines, and enough acid to melt your face off! Tried, tested, and dancefloor-approved, the Spherical Alloys EP is certain to find a home on the harder floors this summer.
Sneijder & Karen Kelly – Be With You (Craig Connelly Extended Remix)
One of the highlights of Sneijder’s ASOT900 set and our latest Afterdark Los Angeles compilation, this is the fantastic Craig Connelly take on ‘Be With You’. Uplifting vocal trance at its finest.
RAM – Umami
Next up it’s the turn of Nocturnal Animals head honcho Ram with his hot new track Umami. Umami is a fifth taste that has only recently been recognised by Western Scientists after salt, sweet, sour and bitter. There is certainly nothing salty, sour or bitter about this uplifting monster but boy does it hit the sweet spot!
Lost In Noise – The Cube
We are delighted to welcome the heavyweight duo of Lostly and Indecent Noise aka Lost In Noise to Nocturnal Animals Fusion! What a combination it is too with banging, driving bass and psychedelic acid lines the main ingredients in this unique techy treat.
Talla 2XLC – Frenetic
For our third release on Nocturnal Animals we bring you German hero Talla 2XLC with his track Frenetic. This track drives with groovy bass before unleashing the most spine tingling of uplifting melodies for a euphoria frenzy!
Giuseppe Ottaviani – Ciudad De Mexico (Original Mix)
The producers producer, as hes often referred, are really just words until youve empirically witnessed how Giuseppe Ottaviani does that thing he does. The divide that separates what the audience hears and how it came to be however has been one Giuseppe Ottaviani been chipping away at for time. From audience-inspired idea-kernel to diamond-in-the-rough demo, before flaming into a fully realised floor-combustor is a typically extensive process. Also one that for reasons numerous is regularly hidden from end-user view. Giuseppe however sees such matters in a more progressive manner. Through Evolver his July-released fourth artist album, hes sought to remove the producer/audience fourth wall down to its last brick. To me bringing the audience into the music making equation makes a great deal of sense.
TNT – Gung
TNT return with a future classic that combines the loudness of the early hardstyle sound with the techniques of today. Featured for the very first time during the Defqon.1 2019 Endshow, Gung proved itself as an absolute dancefloor destroyer. TNT – Gung is out now: http://qdance.lnk.to/gung
Atlantis – Fiji (ReOrder Remix)
The revival of the all-time classic ‘Fiji’ Get lost in paradise with one uplifting remix by ReOrder and one progressive by Meeting Molly! You are going to love them both.
Markus Schulz & HALIENE – Ave Maria
Turned into a full-on Vocal Trance banger by Markus Schulz and HALIENE, the well-known ‘Ave Maria’ bridges the gap between classical music and electronic madness. Featured on Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance, Ibiza 2019’ album for a reason, this absolute belter is where heavenly vocals, stirring chords and mighty melodies collide.
Jordan Suckley Aztec Curse Ashley Smith Remix
Talented female producer Ashley Smith returns with a HUGE remix of the Damaged classic, Aztec Curse! One for the dance floor!
