Check out the first remix on the EP by the greek powerhouse Mindflux. Oldschool & Newschool all wrapped up for the hardcore raver.
After our album “The Future Of Hard Trance” we felt it would be a good idea to do a Remix EP release of some of the tracks so here they are up first the Greek DJ and producer and very humble Mindflux shows as always his brilliance with a stunning remix of Aponaut “Dream Of Eternity”. Germany’s Dark Sector remixed Nostic’s “Dark Energy” retaining the hardness of the original and really going to town reworking the melody. Christoph Menzi aka Wavetraxx gave Busho’s “Identity Unknown” a more futuristic feel and worked wonders with the acid lines and added some dark unsettling breakdowns. Mr. Hard Trance Revolution Thomas Crossley aka Renegade System took it upon himself a few years back to make the move into hard trance and were pleased as punch he did and since then he’s proved on countless occasions to be an exceptional talent who is becoming recognised worldwide for all his efforts scoring him releases on many high profile labels which is very deserving so there was only one man in our minds to remix Mindflux’s “Just Wanna Go Back” and that was of course him and man the RS treatment has given a new lease of life to the original turning it into a harder hard trance lethal weapon with a real grungy and dirty reverse bassline some dark sounds and a gated kick on the way up to the breakdown which is a nice touch capturing a more underground feeling.
About GT Digital:
GT Digital began its life as a mail order catalogue and website called GTVD, which specialized in rare and hard to find European import hard trance and hardstyle vinyl. After considerable success, the site was re-branded as Germantrance.com in 2003, and the label of the same name was launched.
Our first release “GT001 – Uberdruck – Here’s Freddy!’’ was also our most successful, selling just short of 1000 units. It was supported by many leading artists such as Mark E.G, M-Zone, Ben Eye, Louk, Nick the Kid, 4 Play, Sam Punk and DJ Slideout to name just a few. It was also licensed to three CD compilations: ‘Hardbeatz Vol. 8‘, in 2005, ‘Hardbeatz – Collector’s Box Vol 4, and, more recently, in April 2011, it was included on ‘Hindsight – The History’, mixed by Mark E.G and Nick the Kid.
Over the years we have also had many other of our releases licensed: ‘’GT002 – FJ Project – The Moon Revolution (Tunnel Trance Force Vol 38, ‘D-Trance 35’ & Tidy’s ‘Music For A Harder Generation Vol 4) ’GT005 – Russenmafia – Dakrapo’ (D-Trance 38), ‘GT09 – The Projector – Rave Machine’ (D- Trance 42 & Hindsight – The History), GT011 – Iain Cross – Cold World (Goodgreef – Xtra-Hard), GT-HT004 – Masters Of Chaos – Retribution (S.H.O.K.K. Retro Rmx) (D-Trance 48), ‘GTD002 – Sam Punk – Welcome 2 The Future 2K10 (D- Trance 49) and finally GT010 – Lengo – Life In X (D- Trance 45.)
As well as CD licenses, GT releases have seen a lot of very favourable press: FJ Project – The Moon Revolution (IDJ magazine 4/5), Russenmafia – Drakrapo (Mixmag 4/5) The Projector – Rave Machine (IDJ 5/5), Iain Cross – Cold World (IDJ 7/10), Louk – Acid Beast (Mixmag 4/5) and ’GT003 – Russenmafia pres. DJ Maxis & DJ Overdose – The Journey (Mixmag).
In 2004 we were involved with helping Future Sound Corporation’s ‘’Trance Generators’’ secure there first ever UK booking which was held at the legendary Country Club in Yeovil Somerset. In that same year we also lent a helping hand booking and arranging a Fog Area night where DJ Jo and Tom-X played. Furthermore, in 2005 we were involved with helping Uberdruck play a set at the Grove Night Club in Seaton, Devon.
